LC Future Chefs Competition Winner

LC Future Chefs Competition Winner

For the second year in a row, 5th grader Jemarcus Dent is the LC finalist in the Future Chefs Competition - this year celebrating its 10th anniversary!
This year's theme is 'School lunch meal... reimagined!'
Jemarcus calls his entry Spider Dogs:  hot dogs, sliced into pieces with short pieces of raw spaghetti pushed through the center then cooked together so that the spaghetti becomes soft and resembles spider legs.  Jemarcus serves his fun dish with dipping sauces.  When asked how he came up with the idea, Jemarcus just shrugged and said he likes to experiment in the kitchen!
If you want to cheer Jemarcus on in the finals they will be held at Tri-Tech Skills Center in Kennewick on March 27th at 4 pm.
GO JEMARCUS!!!
